Parse for developers and CTOs
Parse emails to a webhook as signed, retried JSON
Fields, not raw MIME: each email arrives at your endpoint as JSON with an HMAC signature.
Free tier on every product. No card.

}To parse emails to a webhook you need three things: an address that receives mail, rules that extract fields, and a delivery that you can trust. SyncYak Parse posts each parsed email to your endpoint as JSON with the message, the inbox, the template and a fields object, signed with X-SyncYak-Signature and retried on failure.
If you already use SendGrid Inbound Parse, point it at Parse’s ingest endpoint and keep your MX records where they are.
How it works
Receive emails as JSON in three steps
Create an inbox and a template
Use the shared domain or your own, and define fields with rules or a gallery template.
Add your webhook
A public http(s) URL; private and metadata addresses are refused. Copy the signing secret.
Verify and store
Check the signature: HMAC-SHA256 of timestamp, a dot and the raw body. Refuse old timestamps.
An inbound email webhook you can rely on
Any 2xx is final, so a receiver that answers 200 with an error is not retried into duplicates. 408, 429, 5xx, timeouts and network errors are retried for about an hour, doubling from 30 seconds. 4xx and redirects fail at once and are visible with the response body you sent.
- 20 second timeout per POST
- Delivery history with status codes and bodies
- Manual retry after you fix the receiver
A SendGrid Inbound Parse alternative, or a companion
POST /parse/v1/ingest/sendgrid takes SendGrid’s Inbound Parse webhook, so you can keep SendGrid on the receiving side and use Parse for rules and delivery. Or move the MX to Parse and drop the middle step.
Use cases
What developers build on it
Lead intake
Portal leads into your own CRM or database.
Support by email
Structured tickets from a mailbox.
Legacy integrations
Systems that only email, as events in your queue.
What you get with Parse
Parse is the email parsing product of SyncYak. Every account gets an inbox on parse.syncyak.com the moment Parse is switched on, every email it receives is stored before it is parsed, and each parsed email can go to any number of destinations: a Google Sheet, a Zapier, Make or n8n hook, or your own webhook.
Free parses 100 emails a month in 2 inboxes. Hobby is $9 a month for 1,000 emails and 10 inboxes, with your own domain from Hobby and Google Sheets lookups from Hobby. Pro is $29 for 5,000 emails.
- Ready-made templates for Zillow, Realtor.com, IDX registrations, CINC, BoomTown, Follow Up Boss, Velocify and paid social lead forms, plus a catch-all
- Rules by label, regex, CSS selector or mailparser.io filter chain, tested against real messages
- Signed deliveries (X-SyncYak-Signature), retried for about an hour on timeouts and server errors, and replayable
- Sub-addresses (inbox+zillow@…) to tell sources apart, and mailparser.io’s form payload format when a receiver expects it
Frequently asked questions
Something else? Write to contact@syncyak.com and a person answers.
Can I get the raw message?
Yes. Each message is stored, and the raw MIME can be fetched through the API during your retention window.
JSON or form?
Either, per destination. JSON is the default for new inboxes.
How do I test locally?
Run syncyak http 3000 and use the tunnel address as the webhook URL while you build the receiver.
Is there a free plan for Parse?
Yes. Parse has a free tier with no card and no end date: 100 emails a month, 2 inboxes, google sheets, zapier and webhooks. Paid tiers start at $9 a month, and you can move up or down at any time.
Can I use the other SyncYak products on the same account?
Yes. Email parsing, the mailbox API, CRM sync, error tracking and tunnels share one login, one team, one API key system and one bill. Each product has its own tier, so you only pay more for the one that grows.
